Will Oblivion Remastered Have Mod Support?
Bethesda has announced that they will not be providing mod support for Oblivion Remastered. Don't worry, community mods have already been made!

When The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered was released on 22 April 2025 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, one of the first questions fans had was whether or not mod support would be available. Although there was no comment about mod support in the introduction made before the game's release on Tuesday, a statement on Bethesda's site clarified the issue.
In the Q&A section on Bethesda's official site, it was stated that Oblivion Remastered will not have mod support kused. It was also stated that mods installed because they are not officially supported may cause gameplay problems.
Oblivion Remastered No Mod Support For Now
One of the undoubtedly essential features of The Elder Scrolls series was the ability to download community mods to enrich and personalise the game. However, the lack of official Oblivion Remastered mod support is a big disappointment for both mod developers and console gamers. The fact that the game is developed with the next generation Unreal Engine 5 is likely to make the job of mod developers difficult.
