Warner Bros. is Working on a New IP

Warner Bros. Games is working on an unannounced new game project scheduled for release in 2025. This information came to light in the LinkedIn profile of a designer in the company.

This detail, which was noticed by GamesRadar+, is on the LinkedIn page of the developer named Brandon Maraia. Maraia, who has been "Game Design Lead" at Warner Bros. Games since 2023, says he's working on an "unannounced new IP game" that will be released in 2025.

There is no clear information yet on what this new IP that Warner Bros. is working on is. Moreover, this development is very interesting as it comes after the company's recent studio closures.

About Warner Bros. Gaming

In February 24, it was announced that Monolith Studios, developer of the Shadow of Mordor series and the cancelled Wonder Woman game, was shut down. Around the same time, Multiversus developer Player First Games and WB San Diego studio were also shut down.

Last month, it was announced that the planned DLC for Hogwarts Legacy, one of the company's most popular franchises, had been cancelled. It was explained that this decision was part of the "reorganisation process" carried out in the company's gaming division. Another reason for the cancellation was that the content to be offered was not comprehensive enough to justify its price.
