Subnautica 2 is Coming: In-Game Footage Released
Subnautica 2's early access was announced with in-game footage.
The long-anticipated Subnautica 2 has finally revealed its in-game footage. Unknown Worlds has given us our first close look at the sequel in a new developer diary video “Road to Early Access” .
In fact, Subnautica 2, the third game in the series, was officially announced in 2022, but we got its first trailer last October. That trailer was more of a cinematic introduction to the atmosphere and didn't show anything about the gameplay. Now we can finally get the first hints about the gameplay.
The new version of a safe zone, similar to the first game's Safe Shallows, is also featured, while the bioluminescence-lit underground caverns look quite impressive. The video also includes short clips of co-op co-operative gameplay where players swim and build bases together.
