About 007 First Light

Developed by IO Interactive, the creators of the Hitman series, 007 First Light will be a third-person action-adventure game. The game will take you to the youth of James Bond, to his 26-year-old rookie version before he earned his 007 identity. You will undergo rigorous MI6 training, use state-of-the-art spy gadgets, and learn to become a top-class spy through intense combat and covert missions.

First announced at the PlayStation State of Play presentation on June 4, 2025, the title is notable for its realistic cinematics and a story that will delve into the character's previously unexplored past. In this new story, fans will also meet iconic series characters like M, Q, and Moneypenny.

While a definitive release date for 007 First Light has not been announced, it is planned for release in 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Additionally, the game will be optimized for the PlayStation 5 Pro and playable at 60 FPS performance.
