Oblivion Remake Could Be Out Late April

New claims for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remake point to the end of April.

Oblivion Remake Could Be Out Late April

Although not yet officially announced, the remake version of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion may be released in the second half of this month. This news, which has spread from ear to ear in the game world, is no longer a secret.

The rumours about the game's release date are getting tighter and tighter. Rumoured last month to be out before June, the game is currently rumoured to be coming out in late April.

In a post on social media, NateTheHate, a trusted game creator, reiterated that the game will be released in the second half of April.

He even responded to a follower whose birthday was 21 April with "It's close enough to be considered a birthday present.". This suggests that the game may be released towards the end of the month, not this week.

Oblivion remake was first leaked during Microsoft's FTC lawsuit. The existence of this remake game was revealed in documents revealed during the testimony of Xbox president Phil Spencer.

Nevertheless, much of what is known about the project is still not officially confirmed. It is rumoured that the game is being developed by the support and port studio Virtuos, is being prepared with the Unreal Engine 5 engine and will offer some innovations on the gameplay side.

If this remake is indeed coming out at the end of the month, we'll not only get to see a revamped Oblivion, but we'll also get a chance to play it in person soon. Released in 2006, the original Oblivion was one of the first open-world RPGs that made the genre what it is today.
