Microsoft is working on technology to emulate old Xbox games on modern platforms, according to a new job advert. According to the job advert, the company is looking for a lead software engineer to build scalable emulation solutions and ensure a safe and fun experience for all players.

It is also stated that the technology that the chief software engineer will work on will play a critical role in experiencing these old games on every device. This brings to mind the idea that Microsoft is working on an emulator.
