As you may recall, last month we shared with you that Mafia: The Old Country release date was leaked as 8 August 2025. With the new gameplay trailer released today, this date was confirmed and new details about the game were revealed.

As we can see in the trailer, The Old Country retains the originality of the Mafia series, but with next-generation graphics. It is also noticeable that new improved mechanics have been added to the game.

Mafia: The Old Country Gameplay Trailer Released

From what we can see in the trailer, Mafia: The Old Country emphasises the theme of family, as befits Mediterranean culture. Also, according to developer studio Hangar 13, this new game will offer a linear and uncomplicated gameplay and storyline.
