Kojima Mission Arrives in Control Ultimate Edition
In the new update to Control Ultimate Edition, you can hear the voice of the legendary Hideo Kojima.
Remedy has released a completely free content update for Control Ultimate Edition. With the update, a mission called Dr. Yoshimi Tokui's Guided Imagery Experience is added to the game. This mission features a character voiced by legendary game producer Hideo Kojima.
Control Ultimate Edition Update
The update is available first on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store, then GOG) and will be available for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S at a later date. Remedy stated that its team is small and is releasing updates incrementally to fix potential bugs, and thanked players for their patience.
The update adds much more than just one mission to the game. The update will give players new outfits (many of which were previously released as pre-order bonuses), improved graphics options, widescreen support, and enhanced DLSS support.
In addition, some bugs related to ray tracing will be fixed, Ultra ray tracing setting will be added to the game, and 4K+ resolution support will be added. Problems with the voices will be resolved and problems that hinder progress will be solved.
Remedy's plans for the Control universe are not limited to this. The studio is working on a multiplayer game called FBC: Firebreak, scheduled for release later this year. Firebreak will be released for PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, and will be available day one to Game Pass and PlayStation Plus Extra/Premium subscribers.
