Infinity Nikki Producer Apologises to Cast
After Infinity Nikki's controversial new update, the development team apologised to players.

The RPG Infinity Nikki, which debuted at the end of last year, initially received positive feedback from players. However, after version 1.5 (i.e. the "Bubble Season" update) released on 28 April, things seem to have gone downhill.
This update, which was expected to add new missions, events and gameplay features, brought with it serious technical problems and controversial content.
After the update, many players had trouble starting the game, and for some, Infinity Nikki completely crashed. PS5 users need to re-download the game and major bugs such as the character not moving are among the bugs encountered by players.
As user comments on Steam quickly turned negative, the development team issued an official apology statement two weeks later. In a statement addressed to the players, it was acknowledged that the problems experienced were recognised and that trust had been broken.

Infinity Nikki Players Apologise
"We have chosen to address these issues methodically, rather than communicating prematurely. We responded to your expectations only after providing concrete solutions, but rest assured, we heard your feedback loud and clear."
The dev team announced that the 1.5 update has been extended until 12 June 2025, during which time they will be working hard to ensure game stability. Due to all this confusion, it was announced that various rewards will be distributed to players.
The development team has also recognised communication issues and launched a new feedback system called the Miraland Roundtable. Through this system, players will be able to send their thoughts directly to the developer via e-mail or through the in-game support menu. It was stated that all feedback will be evaluated and important issues will be answered directly.
