Hellblade 2 Coming to PS5
PlayStation players will now be able to experience Hellblade 2, the Xbox exclusive game.
Microsoft has officially announced that Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2, which came out last year exclusively for Xbox Series X|S and PC, will be coming to PlayStation 5 this summer. Although no exact release date has been announced, it has been stated that the PS5 version of the game will be released to celebrate the first anniversary of its release.
The PlayStation version of Hellblade 2 will be PS5-optimised and will feature an enhanced version for the PS5 Pro. In addition, according to the game's PlayStation Store page, a more immersive experience will be offered to players with haptic feedback support.
With the next-gen release, a free update is planned for both Xbox and PC users. Exactly what this update will include has not yet been announced.
Xbox Exclusive Hellblade 2 Coming to PlayStation
Microsoft first announced a new strategy last February, bringing games like Pentiment, Hi-Fi Rush, Sea of Thieves and Grounded to PlayStation and Nintendo Switch platforms. Then Doom: The Dark Ages, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and Forza Horizon 5 are also coming to PlayStation.
Phil Spencer, CEO of Microsoft's gaming division, said last November that they would not flatly deny that no Xbox exclusive games would come to PlayStation or Nintendo in the future. Indeed, it seems possible to say that, at least for Xbox, the phrase "exclusive game" has disappeared to a certain extent.
