Hades 2 Release Date Announced, Coming to Switch First on Console
Hades 2 will be released for PC, Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2 on September 25th.

In the Nintendo Direct presentation that just concluded, it was confirmed that Supergiant's new action and roguelike game, Hades 2, will be released on September 25, 2025, for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. The game, which will also be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store on the same day, will be released for PlayStation and Xbox consoles at a later date.

The Hades sequel, which has been in early access for about a year, will, as previously announced, be available first to Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 users on consoles. As one of the timed console exclusives for the Switch, Hades 2 will be released digitally for both consoles on September 25th. The physical version of the game for Switch 2 will go on sale on November 20, 2025.

Switch 2 users will be able to play the game in TV mode at 1080p resolution and 120fps performance. In handheld mode, the game will achieve 1080p resolution and 60fps performance.
Hades 2 will be released on September 25, 2025, for PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2. The release date for the PlayStation and Xbox versions has not yet been announced.
