GTA 5 PC Update Coming on 4 March
The update, which will bring graphics and sound improvements to the GTA 5 PC version on the console, will be released on 4 March.

GTA 5 will receive the Enhanced Edition update available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on 4 March 2025. This free update will bring improved graphics and sound tuning options to the game and improve overall loading speed. GTA 5 Story Mode and GTA Online progression will also be seamlessly ported to the new version.

GTA 5 PC Update System Requirements
The system requirements of the update, which will bring improvements such as NVIDIA DLSS 3 support and Dolby Atmos support to the PC version of GTA 5, are as follows:

- Operating System: Windows 10
- Processor: Intel Core i7-4770 or AMD FX-9590
- RAM: 8 GB
- Display Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1630 (4GB VRAM) or AMD Radeon RX 6400 (4GB VRAM)
- Storage: 105 GB free space, requires SSD
- Sound Card: Must be compatible with DirectX 10
Recommended
- Operating System: Windows 11
- Processor: Intel Core i5-9600K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600
- RAM: 16 GB
- Display Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTC 3060 (8GB VRAM) or AMD Radeon RX 6600XT (8GB VRAM)
- Storage: 105 GB free space, requires DirectStorage compatible drive
- Sound Card: Windows Spatial Sound compatible sound system or hardware with Dolby Atmos support required for Dolby Atmos experience
Rockstar has also promised continued support for the previous version for players who don't have the minimum system specs. However, if you continue to play on the old version, you will not be able to join the new GTA Online servers.
