Gears of War: Reloaded Surpasses 1 Million Players

Gears of War: Reloaded, by Xbox Game Studios and The Coalition, has achieved a significant milestone just a few days after its release. According to an announcement on the series' official social media account, the game has quickly reached 1 million players.

The post included the words, “Ending the console war, one grub at a time. Thank you for 1 million players.”

Gears of War: Reloaded's Success

Gears of War: Reloaded was released for Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC (Steam and the Xbox PC app), and for the first time in the series, on PlayStation 5. However, this number does not mean the game has sold 1 million copies.

The game is included with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscriptions. Additionally, Reloaded was offered for free to Xbox users who had previously purchased the digital version of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition.

Reloaded brings the game back to fans with its 4K resolution support, HDR implementation, and refreshed visuals. It offers both a nostalgic experience for fans of the series and a version enhanced with modern technical features.

Alongside the gaming world, a Gears of War movie developed by Netflix is also on the way. The film is directed by David Leitch (Bullet Train, The Fall Guy), with the screenplay by Jon Spaihts (Prometheus, Dune: Part One & Two).
