Atomfall Becomes Rebellion's Most Successful Game

Rebellion's head honcho Jason Kingsley revealed last month that the game "made a profit the moment it launched". According to Kingsley, one of the biggest reasons for the game's success is being on Game Pass. "It reduces the risks and guarantees a certain level of income." Kingsley said that although the game is on Game Pass, many players buy the game directly.

"Atomfall has been a huge success for us. So what are we going to do in the future? We have DLC plans, but we're also talking about this: Should we make a sequel? Should we make side stories?"

Kingsley emphasised that Atomfall was the most successful release in Rebellion's history. He announced that the game reached 1.5 million players in a short time. While announcing that DLCs are on the way for the game, he also confirmed that discussions for sequels and spin-off games have begun at the studio.

"We hope players continue to enjoy exploring the world of Atomfall, and we look forward to seeing what we can do with the game in the future," Kingsley said in celebration of the game reaching 1 million players. So it seems that the Rebellion team has been intending to make a sequel for a long time.
