ARK 2's Release Date Still Undecided
New news came from ARK 2, which we thought was cancelled! ARK: Lost Colony expansion is also on the way.

Actually announced at The Game Awards 2020, ARK 2 has been buried in an alarming silence for a long time. Finally, even though there is no ARK 2 release date, we have learned that the game has not been cancelled.
Studio Wildcard, developer of the survival series, has announced that ARK: Survival Evolved's new expansion pack ARK: While announcing Lost Colony, he also briefly mentioned the second game. It looks like the ARK sequel is still a few months away.
ARK 2's Release May Take Until 2026
The recently released trailer features Mei-Yin Li, played by Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh, as the main character Helena Walker in the animated adaptation of ARK. As we see in the trailer, Mei-Yin, who is attacked by a snowstorm and survives alone, steps into the lost and cursed land of Arat Prime. Also referred to as the birthplace of the ARKs and besieged by demonic beings, this area resembles a gothic castle.
The studio's description for the trailer states that Lost Colony will bridge the gap between ARK Extinction and Genesis, and even pave the way for ARK 2. ARK: It is also stated that Lost Colony will be available for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in June 2025 for $30. This means that the long-awaited sequel game ARK 2 will only appear after this date.
